"Never met a man (or woman) 'drink whiskey like I can, living like there's no tomorrow..."
The Whiskey Chasers play bluegrass and old country style tunes about whiskey and women and wanderlust.
Since their birth in Mulligan's Pub in Eugene, OR two years ago, The Whiskey Chasers have gathered the following cast of characters:
Gracin Dorsey on Mando and Kevin Davison on Guitar sing and write our tunes. Tony Cipolle plays his Banjo and Cindy Ingram plays her Washboard. Seth Kimmel made the bass he plays!
Gregg knows sweet dobro and blueberries.
The Whiskey Chasers play ole time tunes about trains, lost love and whiskey drinkin' with a couple a' crowd pleasin' spirituals thrown in for good measure. With a pocket fulla fast-pickin' tunes with harmonies that could swoon even the preacher's daughter, they gather in a horseshoe at a small town grange picnic on a sunny summer day, or in the corner of a Waffle house, Hell, one time I saw 'em play on a steam-powered Dirigible.
Each song keeps the crowd swinging their partner round and round, with the occasional country waltz for you romantic types. Even grampa taps his toes at the bar as he orders another round of Whiskey Chasers. Keep it rowdy. |
